After two decades of working heavily with type, I stepped into the world of actually designing it. It has not been a short journey. Through several courses, mentorships, self-reflection, and redoes, I found my purpose as a type designer in creating fonts for crafters like letterpress printers, book artists, and all creatives that, while keeping up with technological innovation, still appreciate some handmade quality in things.
