Printmaking became a fulfilling hands-on practice when I discovered the Letterpress program at the School of Visual Concepts (SVC) in Seattle. Thanks to its welcoming environment and generous instructors, I created many of the projects featured here.
In the Spring of 2018, Jules Faye, a beloved member of SVC's letterpress community, connected me to Rebecca Mullins, who owns a marvelous letterpress shop in La Conner, WA, that became my new home for printing.
Want to brainstorm a creative project? I am always happy to talk about type-oriented letterpress projects like type specimens, custom-crafted creative pieces featuring your type design, educational and research-oriented typographical material. If interested, contact me here.
I currently offer limited edition, small-batch letterpress printing for clients. If you’re looking for recommendations to some top-notch commercial letterpress printers, here are some favorite resources: Evolution Press, Studio on Fire, Boxcar Letterpress.
Let's Work Together
If you want to see your typeface or typographic design beautifully printed in letterpress, get in touch! We can schedule a visit to the shop, discuss your project, and have a hands-on experience. If visiting the shop doesn't fit your plans, but you still will love to have your unique typographic project printed, you can hire me for just that.
